BPac® is a small portable and rugged device that can acquire, store and process facial, fingerprint and iris biometric data. A feature-rich, fully-functional, no-compromise solution, BPac® comes in a rugged ultra mobile personal computer.

BPac® can be used both for enrolment and verification applications, where the identity of subjects needs to be checked and verified. It captures the facial image, fingerprints and the iris pattern of a subject and stores this information in its memory. The biometric data is encrypted and stored on removable media for added security. Both verification and identification can be performed in a matter of seconds.

BPac® has been designed with input from the military with the ‘real world’ in mind.

Watch-lists can be installed and the enrolment process can be set to automatically check if a user is already enrolled or on a watch-list. Identification can be run from any of the biometric files or from aliases.

The touch screen can be operated in direct sunlight, capturing full iris, face and fingerprint biometric data in only a few seconds.

BPac® communicates via wireless, linking to a central database for match watch-list updates and biometric data transfers. However, wireless communications can be disabled for added security.

BPac® is waterproof, IP67 rated and can withstand extremely low temperatures. It is small, light-weight and has a long-lasting battery that can be used for 5~6 hours continuously.
