Incorporating the world’s best automatic face recognition and a unique new “light immune”™ camera system, CheckPoint™ provides the ultimate in speed, convenience and cost-effectiveness for secure access control and reliable attendance logging. CheckPoint™ provides a highly secure and also convenient and cost-effective ID check - for staff, clients, club members, visitors - anyone whose true identity you need to be sure of.  

The system consists of a simple camera/computer combination which includes purpose built CheckPoint™ “light immune” cameras, identity verification software and all necessary ancillary equipment. Installed complete to suit each customer’s needs. 

CheckPoint™ can be integrated with existing access control systems or incorporated in an overall solution at the point of installation.

Technical Specifications

There are two major processes within the overall system – Enrolment and Verification. Each system has the following specifications:

• OmniPerception Affinity™ light immune camera
• CheckPoint™ Software
• Optional - Smart card reader, PIN pad, barcode reader, if required
• The software can typically be installed on existing Windows PCs. However, separate hardware can be supplied if necessary.
• Stand alone, interfaced or fully integrated.

For many installations it is sometimes convenient to combine the Enrolment/Verification station to work on a single PC.

Verification – Processing Time

The verification will be successful if the client face matches the stored templates (FacialPin™). A successful verification will be processed in a total time of less than 1 second. If an impostor tries to enter, he or she will not be accepted. Access will be denied. The time necessary for an “access denied” decision is configurable to the customer’s requirements but is typically set for between 1 and 3 seconds.
